Pass the Remote

After losing the war, earth has been added to an expansive alien empire. Most humans are allowed to cower in imperfect bunkers as aliens test their weaponry on the land above them. But some of you are kept in orbit above the earth, required to participate in alien entertainment (sport, reality TV, dramas) streamed across the empire. Humans are commentators, actors, interviewers, camera crew.

In Pass the Remote, play some of these humans rebelling against alien occupation. Play out tense veneers of entertainment media  while looking for ways to wrest control. Pass the Remote is diceless, using a pack of cards to resolve challenges. It is also GMless, with the option of one or more players acting as narrators or commentators if a more guided experience is preferred. 2+ players, length adaptable.
